Cyberattack hits state auditor’s office, prompting shutdown of web server, online accounts
Source Scout · Cleveland.com / The Plain Dealer reports: Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign is moving to a shorter version of its controversial attack ad against Democratic gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton, removing some of the most explosive claims made by Acton’s estranged mother while continuing to use her to challenge Acton’s credibility. The new 30-second ad eliminates Donna Arthur’s assertion that Acton “lies about her past,” including Acton’s accounts of living in a campground and being raped by her stepfather at age 12. But Arthur still calls her daughter “a liar” and urges Ohioans not to elect her governor.
