EAST VILLAGE, Manhattan (WABC) -- Police have identified the 15-year-old girl killed after being struck by a truck while on a bike in the East Village as Daria Serkov. A 16-year-old girl was also injured in the crash and remains hospitalized. She was last listed in stable condition, according to police. It happened at East 14th Street and 1st Avenue around 9 p.m. Police say the truck was traveling westbound on 14th Street when the driver attempted to make a right turn onto 1st Avenue, striking the teens.
