One of the most shocking attacks ever carried out against a member of the federal judiciary is back in the spotlight tonight as “Dateline NBC” revisits the case in an episode titled “The Grudge,” airing at 10 p.m. Reported by Andrea Canning, the episode examines the July 2020 shooting at the home of U.S. District Judge Esther Salas in North Brunswick, New Jersey. The attack claimed the life of her 20-year-old son, Daniel Anderl, and critically wounded her husband, attorney Mark Anderl. Investigators later identified attorney Roy Den Hollander as the gunman.
