DOTHAN, Ala. ( WTVY /Gray News) – An Alabama woman is wanted by police on felony animal cruelty charges after authorities discovered several dead cats and abandoned live animals inside her Dothan grooming business. 41-year-old Brandi Leann Tyrrell has been charged with two felony counts of first-degree cruelty to a cat and six counts of animal cruelty. Dothan Animal Services officials on Thursday were called to JoJo’s LaundroMutt after receiving reports of a strong odor. Surrounding businesses had also complained about the smell. Inside, officers found several dead cats alongside other live animals left in enclosures, according to police.
