Deadly fire in Kanawha County + train derailment cleanup underway + more
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A fatal fire occurred Thursday morning in Montgomery, according to the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office. The office says a woman died after a fire broke out in the 800 block of Fourth Avenue in Montgomery. Cleanup efforts are still underway after a train derailed in South Charleston Thursday morning. CSX says the train originated in Morristown, Indiana, and was headed to Rosehill, North Carolina. The cause of the derailment is still under investigation.
