TOLEDO, Ohio ( WTVG /Gray News) - Authorities in Ohio say two have died following an explosion at an industrial facility Tuesday morning. Family members identified one of the workers killed as Mary Allen, saying she died in the fire. Allen was described as a loving mother and grandmother, as well as a dedicated worker who loved her job and was always the first one in for her shift. “My mom was amazing, and I’m going to miss her,” Mary Allen’s daughter Lenore Bangura said. “I’m mad as hell she came to work on time. I’m mad as hell she’s so dedicated to this company that she was the first one in and the last one out.” Toledo Fire and Rescue officials initially said two people were unaccounted for following the blast during a news conference held shortly after the explosion. Twelve workers were inside at the time the facility caught fire, with most escaping with minor injuries, first responders said.
