DelMaestro found the back of the cage at 2:23 of the third quarter to break the scoreless tie and provide all the offense Lacey would need. Lacey (2-4-1) dominated possession throughout, outshooting Barnegat 13-3 and earning 11 penalty corners compared to just one for the Bengals. Barnegat (0-7-2) goalkeeper Emery Dobbin kept her team in the contest with 12 saves.
