Detectives closing in on suspect after woman fatally shot in Kansas City home
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A woman is dead after a shooting inside a Kansas City home over the weekend, and the suspect remains at large, police say. The Kansas City Police Department says it responded to the area of 56th and Agnes Ave. around 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 1, after reports of a shooting. Officers indicate that they arrived to find an unresponsive woman and immediately began rendering aid until EMS took over. First responders say they took the woman to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
