Double shooting near Rowan-Iredell County line leaves woman dead

(WBTV) - A shooting near the Rowan-Iredell County line left a woman dead and a man hurt late last week. The deadly shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, at a mobile home on Oak Breeze Drive in Rowan County, just over a mile from the Iredell County line. Rowan County deputies were called to the mobile home, and once there, found a 38-year-old man shot multiple times, and 38-year-old Sarah Sharp dead with at least one gunshot wound.

Officials said White knew both the man and woman that were shot, and said an “ongoing conflict” led up to the shooting. Following his arrest, White was charged with: He was taken to the Rowan County jail and was initially held without bond. He was found at a nearby home and was arrested.
