Douglass Homes shooting leaves 7 injured, police say

A 3-year-old is among seven victims of a shooting in East Baltimore, Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said. According to preliminary information, officers were called after 9 p.m. Wednesday to the 1400 block of East Fayette Street for reports of gunshots. Police said seven victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. "There is no way, to those individuals, there is no way for you to reclaim humanity after doing that. But, if you want to try to save yourself and save your soul, turn yourself in," Mayor Brandon Scott said during a news conference. "Everybody in the Goddamn city should be looking looking for you." Fayette and Caroline streets remain blocked during to the investigation.
