Dramatic video shows shootout between Kenosha police and deadly bar shooting suspect

One man is dead, and a suspect is in custody after a shooting at a Kenosha bar followed by a shootout with police on Sunday. The first shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. at Shenanigans Bar near 52nd Street and 24th Avenue. Responding officers arrived to find 33-year-old Antero Medina shot. He died from his injuries, according to police.

Police said no officers "received significant physical injuries during the incident." Kenosha Mayor David Bogdala also said the tragedy is unacceptable and also commended the responding officers. "Within minutes, they were not only able to respond to this incident, but they were able to take direct action to counteract the threat," Bogdala said. "I'm just very thankful that none of them were injured in this case.
