Driver and passenger killed in rollover crash on Loop 1604 on West Side

A driver and passenger were killed early Wednesday after their vehicle rolled over on the West Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department. The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 6100 block of W. Loop 1604 N., near Culebra Road, according to a preliminary police report. The driver was traveling at a high speed when they clipped another vehicle, causing their vehicle to enter the median and roll down an embankment into a creek bed, police said. The driver and passenger, who have not been identified, were pronounced dead at the scene.
