Bjorn Hartzell, who was 16 at the time of the deadly crash in 2022, was recently sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of second-degree murder and one count of endangerment, according to the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. 20, 2022, the defendant was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee near 107th Avenue and Lone Cactus Drive when he hit a minivan carrying a family of two adults and four kids. The family had just left a Thanksgiving event.
