A South Carolina man was killed in a recent crash involving a dump truck, officials said. Ivan Arnold Brooks, a 69-year-old from Westminster, is the driver who died in what Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis called an accident. The two-vehicle collision happened near the Walhalla area of Oconee County on Sept. 17 at about 8:45 a.m., said Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway of the South Carolina Highway Patrol . Brooks was driving a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer SUV east on Hefner Road , according to Ridgeway.
