SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A driver suspected of being drunk is recovering after a crash in Scottsdale killed their passenger early Sunday morning. Just after 2:30 a.m., first responders were called to the single-car crash near Drinkwater Boulevard and Osborn Road . Officials arrived and found the passenger with life-threatening injuries, according to the Scottsdale Police Department. The passenger was taken to the hospital, where they later died. Police say the driver was suspected of driving drunk and speeding before the crash.
