‘Dust Attack’ on Kraken Shows Challenge of Policing Crypto Flows

Kraken called the transfers a “dust attack,” in which small, unwanted transfers are used to disrupt or manipulate another crypto user. In this case, Kraken said the apparent aim was to trigger compliance checks by spreading sanctioned funds.
