Early results show Cleveland Heights-University Heights school levy trending toward passage

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — A proposed 6.5-mill operating levy for Cleveland Heights-University Heights schools is passing Tuesday night as absentee vote tallies were released, according to unofficial election results. Issue 4 had 4,696 votes, or 53.92%, in favor, compared with 4,014 votes, or 46.08%, against, according to results available shortly after 8 p.m. The results are unofficial and could change as additional ballots are counted.
