Eight people hurt in Richland County shooting, business owner says his establishment was not involved

No deaths have been reported, but authorities and a local business owner have conflicting accounts of where the incident happened. A release from RCSD says deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the 2700 block of Decker Boulevard shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday. That location has been identified as Club Hush. Deputies said there were two victims on the scene who suffered from gunshot wounds who were taken to a local hospital. While investigators were processing the scene, the sheriff's department learned that six additional gunshot victims had arrived at area hospitals via private vehicles, bringing the total number of injured to eight.
