Evacuations ordered after wildfire sparks near Indiahoma

An evacuation order has been issued for residents in Comanche County, near Indiahoma, due to a wildfire burning out of control Saturday afternoon. The National Weather Service issued the evacuation warning at the request of the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management. The weather service reported the wildfire was east of Indiahoma and spreading northward. The evacuations were ordered for residents between Cache/Holsey Acres Road and Rogers Lane to the north and the south and NW Big Bow Road and NW 197th. A reunification center is being set up at the New Life Assembly of God, 501 W B Ave., Cache, Oklahoma.
