Fall River police said two people were arrested after a shots-fired incident on Tuesday. According to police, they responded to Slade and Scott streets after reports of gunfire at around 11:30 p.m. Witnesses and the victim told officers that a man, later identified as 36-year-old James Hickey, fired three shots near the victim, police said. Authorities said Hickey was found hiding inside a nearby residence. He was found with a firearm and ammunition, according to police.
