Video captured some extremely tense moments in Washington Heights, where loved ones of a woman beaten to death in her apartment confronted the man arrested for her murder. Police escorted 41-year-old Tiliek Thompson out of the precinct on Saturday to screams from the family of 27-year-old Lovay Williams. The Harlem man was arrested, nearly a week after Williams' body was found, and booked on charges of murder, strangulation and child abandonment. Contact information for his attorney was not immediately known.
