Family of 3, including young boy, found dead of gunshots after Maywood house fire

Three people were found dead following a house fire in Maywood. Karma Dickerson reports for Today in LA on Saturday, Sept. What started as a response to a house fire in Maywood led to the discovery of three people, including a child, all dead of gunshot wounds inside the burning home. Firefighters were called to a home near the intersection of East 61 st Street and Alamo Avenue sometime around 2:30 a.m. There, they were given notice that there may be people in the burning home, so crews began to search.
