Fargo teen seriously injured in motorcycle crash heads to rehab center

FARGO — A Fargo teenager, who lost part of his leg after being hit by a car, is off to the next step on his road to recovery. Isaac Putney is on his way to a rehab center. His sister shared a photo on Facebook of him in a wheelchair. On Sept. 13, a car clocked at 120 mpg minutes earlier hit Putney, 19, while he was on his motorcycle on University Drive. The driver of that vehicle was killed in the crash. Putney's left leg was severed below the knee. Putney tells us his next goal beyond rehab: meet the three strangers who, along with Fargo firefighters, helped him at the scene on the night of the crash.
