CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich announced Friday that Christopher Evans has been indicted on eleven counts in connection with the death of his newborn baby on Sept. Pillich said Evans, 35, is facing an aggravated murder charge, three murder charges, one charge of felonious assault and six charges of child endangering. Cincinnati police said they responded to a report of an unresponsive child at a Kennedy Heights residence on Red Bank Road around 8:45 p.m. The Cincinnati Fire Department brought 23-day-old Naomi Evans to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where she died from her injuries the following day. Evans killed his daughter “by means of physical force significant enough to cause massive head trauma resulting in a skull fracture and bleeding to the brain,” police wrote in his criminal complaint.
