Police investigating after two cars set alight in attack caught on CCTV on Wednesday Firebombs were thrown at supercars outside a wedding venue in Birmingham , setting two alight and prompting guests to sprint out of the building. West Midlands police said they were investigating the incident, which happened in the Sparkbrook area of Birmingham at around 8.30pm on Wednesday. Videos circulating online appear to show people running from the Royal Shalimar on Highgate Road after three incendiary devices were thrown towards the entrance of the venue and the cars parked outside. Two of the supercars, reported to be a Lamborghini and a McLaren, were set alight before three men dressed in black were seen getting into a white Volkswagen Golf and driving off. Footage shows the front of one of the vehicles on fire and a man kicking one of the incendiary devices away from the area.
