Firefighter, resident injured in Pfafftown house fire on Grandview Club Road: Officials

A firefighter and an occupant were injured in a house fire on Grandview Club Road on Thursday in the Pfafftown area of Forsyth County. Get the latest news stories of interest by clicking here According to a spokesperson for the Winston-Salem Fired Department, crews responded to a residential structure fire around 3:30 p.m. on the 3000 block of Grandview Club Road. Upon arrival, they found flames shooting out of the roof and heavy smoke showing. The spokesperson said two people were injured – one occupant and one firefighter. While the full extent of the injuries remains to be determined, the spokesperson confirmed that the firefighter was transported for treatment to a nearby hospital.
