Florida Panthers get away from their game in loss to Detroit Red Wings

Source Scout · Miami Herald reports: While Florida Panthers fans spent most of the day Monday filled with excitement over the team’s new Hometown Remix jerseys, defenseman Aaron Ekblad knew the team’s priority had to go beyond just looking good on the ice. “Got to find a way to get comfortable in them early,” Ekblad said after the team’s morning skate, “and have a good game.” After tying the game twice in the first two periods, Florida gave up a pair of goals in a 45-second span early in the third that put an end to any comeback bid hopes in a 5-3 loss to the Detroit Red Wings. Florida falls to 8-5-2.
