Football game called after shots fired at Manteca High campus; 2 teens in custody

Two teenagers are in custody following a shooting at the Manteca High School campus where a football game was taking place Friday night, according to police. The Manteca Police Department said shots were fired near the gym area around 9:27 p.m. Officers responded to the area and casings were found on the ground. Six officers were at the school Friday night for Manteca's football game against Cesar Chavez High School. Police said a gun was fired in the air after a physical altercation between people outside the football stadium.
