Former CNS basketball coach trades 1 of Section III’s biggest schools for 1 of its smallest: ‘Thought I was done’
Source Scout · Syracuse.com reports: When Kyle Martin stepped down as the Cicero-North Syracuse varsity basketball coach last season, he thought he had coached his final game. Then his former players started reaching out. “I thought I was done coaching for good in the spring,” Martin said. “We accomplished so much on and off the court at CNS and set the program up for a ton of success for years to come. Hearing from so many former players and others in the months that followed about the impact we had made really meant a lot.” Those messages made Martin realize he wanted to coach again and led to him taking the job at Madison this winter.
