Former NFL top-10 pick relegated to ‘emergency’ role after losing QB competition

A Chinese auto parts maker is facing sharp criticism after it fired dozens of recently hired college graduates less than a month into their jobs. According to The Wall Street Journal , Changzhou Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems, a supplier for automakers such as Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota, reportedly recruited 440 recent college graduates, with nearly one-third of the new hires holding master’s degrees. They were slated to work in various roles, including research and development. However, in early August, less than a month after they were hired, 107 of the recent graduates were fired. The report said some of the employees with master’s degrees were offered production line jobs, most declined and chose to look for work elsewhere.
