A Colorado woman has been charged with second-degree murder after police say she dismembered her boyfriend’s body and kept it in their home for days, telling investigators, “There’s no words for what you’re fixing to find out.” According to court documents obtained by Colorado Springs television station KKTV , Colorado Springs police arrested Sheldon “Shelly” Wilson, 62, after her daughter brought her to the county’s police operations center to report the man’s death. Wilson eventually admitted to officers that the man was dead, according to the documents. When officers initially searched the home during a welfare check, they found no one there but noticed the smell of decomposition. They later discovered human remains in two black totes and trash bags.

When asked directly if she believed she killed him, Wilson said, “I’m scared I might have.” She also faces charges of tampering with a deceased human body and tampering with physical evidence.
