Four dead in Louisiana stabbing spree as police arrest person of interest

The Terrebonne parish sheriff’s office confirmed Kaegan Jude Solet, 47, had been taken into custody after deputies were initially called to the Ashland Drive area of Houma and located a juvenile with apparent stab wounds. “This remains an active and ongoing investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available,” the office said in a statement. The victim was airlifted to an out-of-area hospital and remains in critical condition. As the investigation continued, authorities later found four deceased victims in a nearby home.
