Fugitive sought in fatal shooting of 2 VDOT contractors believed to be in North Carolina

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — The mothers of two men shot and killed at a Chesterfield County worksite are speaking out six weeks after the shooting — demanding the woman accused of pulling the trigger turn herself in. Dennikia Boyce is accused of shooting and killing Philip Wilson and Rai'Shon DeLarge on the morning of July 24 at the intersection of Route 1 and Route 288, where the two men were working at a Virginia Department of Transportation site. Police say Boyce fled Virginia after the shooting and could be in North Carolina. "You was bold enough to go and commit the crimes, in broad daylight at their job, but you're not bold enough to go ahead and face the consequences of your actions," Sharone Brown, DeLarge's mother, said. He broke up with you as a woman, just okay. It didn't work out.
