Garland police investigate shooting that killed two and critically injured another

GARLAND, Texas — Two people are dead and another is at the hospital in critical condition after a shooting, according to Garland police. Officials say they were called to Bay Shore Dr. for a fight in progress, and found three people had been shot outside a home. One of those victims was taken to the hospital with critical injuries, while the other two were pronounced dead at the scene. None of the victims have been identified at this time. During the investigation, police learned that two vehicles had left the scene before they got there and were able to quickly locate them and detain the occupants.
