GBI identifies man shot, killed by Rome police officer

The GBI said Jeron Bruce Bradford died from his injuries. According to the agency, a Rome Police officer was conducting a traffic stop around noon in the 200 block of South Broad Street SW. The driver, Bradford, immediately got out of the vehicle and confronted the officer, the GBI stated. "The officer gave verbal commands to Bradford, which Bradford refused to follow.
