Good Samaritan shot, killed after trying to stop man stealing flowers from woman, police say

LAS VEGAS ( KVVU /Gray News) — Las Vegas authorities say a Good Samaritan has died in a shooting after trying to stop a man from stealing flowers from a woman. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called Thursday night about gunfire being heard at an intersection near a neighborhood. Police said arriving officers spotted a car that appeared to have struck a tree. Robert Price said the person inside the car, a Hispanic man in his late 30s, was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital but later died.
