Nearly five years after a deadly shooting in Greensboro, Governor Josh Stein announced the state is seeking help to solve the murder. The governor said on Monday that the state of North Carolina is offering up to $25,000 in exchange for information leading to an arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the murder of 27-year-old Lyndon Massenburg. Officers said they found Massenburg suffering from a gunshot wound. After being taken to a hospital, officers said he died from his injuries. “We must use every tool at our disposal to pursue justice for victims,” said Stein. “I urge North Carolinians who have information about this case to contact local law enforcement and help us hold Lyndon Massenburg’s murderer accountable."
