(WGHP) -- A Greensboro man faces multiple charges in connection to shooting at the home of his ex-girlfriend after trying to force his way in, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release. Tyriq McCain, 27, of Greensboro, is charged with: Around 2:25 a.m. on Monday, officers were sent to the 2500 block of East Bessemer Avenue after reports of shots fired. A woman told dispatchers that her ex-boyfriend, McCain, was trying to force his way into her home before he started shooting at it. The woman said McCain left and began driving up and down the street, firing shots.

He appeared in court on Tuesday and was given a $250,000 bond. Officers later found McCain on McConnell Road and took him into custody.
