I am writing this letter to you today for no other reason than to afford you the highly-earned respect, courtesy and appreciation that all there at The Forum have facilitated on my behalf. You folks have been nothing short of amazing. Additionally, my entire family made me promise to give their voice in conveying to you personally their appreciation as well. Make no mistake: My wrongful conviction and its aftermath are the stuff of monsters and nightmares. I fought for decades to escape the concrete abyss and injustice of my almost 32 years of wrongful incarceration that was offensively perpetuated by the evil entities here in the Lake Region and Devils Lake area.
