High school football: Morgan scores 37 unanswered points to beat Richfield, return to 3A title game
Source Scout · Deseret News reports: Morgan’s first four possessions Saturday in the 3A semifinals ended with an interception, two turnovers on downs and a lost fumble. Richfield turned the two takeaways into nine points, and the Trojans were still looking for their first score when the second quarter began, but Morgan coach Jared Barlow didn’t see a reason to change the game plan. “Nothing really changed,” Barlow said. “Sometimes bad things happen.” The Trojans scored on the first play of the second quarter, then took the lead on a 93-yard run by William Pace and never gave it back.
