Highway Patrol identifies woman killed, driver in fiery Fargo crash

FARGO — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the woman killed after a car in which she was a passenger crashed into a house and caught fire. According to a release, Victor Fairbanks, 26, of Moorhead, was driving a 2004 Toyota Avalon northbound on University Drive South at 3:15 a.m. Sierra Crook, 30, of Fargo, was a passenger in the car. As the Toyota approached in intersection with 13th Avenue South, the vehicle lost control, crashed into a house on the northeast corner and became engulfed in flames, the release said. Fargo police responded and attempted to put the fire out before the Fargo Fire Department extinguished the fire.
