Hispanic-American Library hosts Springfield event honoring Ortiz Cofer
Source Scout · MassLive reports: SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield Symphony Orchestra marked the start of a new chapter Wednesday in the organization’s new headquarters at 1350 Main St. The new office, in the heart of downtown Springfield in the MassLive Building, will be open to the public several days a week, strengthening the orchestra’s presence in the community. “Symphony Hall will always be our artistic home, but we are so excited that we’re going to get to welcome people into our new home,” Heather Caisse-Roberts, president and CEO of the orchestra, said on Wednesday. “An orchestra cannot disappear behind concerts. We have to be visible.
