Homeowner who shot puppies that attacked farm animals won’t be charged, officials say
CHILTON COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC /Gray News) - An Alabama sheriff’s office said that the person responsible for shooting seven puppies will not be charged. Chilton County Sheriff John Shearon said the shooting happened at 5:30 a.m. Thursday after the dogs had killed six of the person’s chickens, two cats, and caused property damage. Shearon said the person had the right to protect their property while adding that the dog owner took full responsibility for what happened.
