A Hoover woman who died Thursday night after police say she was assaulted at a community pool has been identified. Terry Lynn Walker-Zuniga was 70 and lived in Hoover, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. The Hoover Police Department responded around 9:30 p.m. 3 to the 2200 block of Little Valley Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive person in a community pool. Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful, and Walker-Zuniga was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anastasia Tsefia Sudarsana, 30, of Hoover, was arrested and charged with murder. She is being held without bond in the Jefferson County Jail.
