ORIGINAL REPORT: 3 people shot by suspect accused of firing at multiple vehicles, suspect shot by officers, HPD says Houston Police have now released body-worn camera footage showing officers later shooting 45-year-old Demetri O'Neal Thomas multiple times after they say he pointed a gun at them. Houston police say they were called out to Settegast at 11 am on August 14th after multiple people called 911, saying somebody was shooting randomly. Houston police report three people were shot on North Wayside. All three survived, according to HPD.

Thomas has been charged with four counts of aggravated assault against a public servant and three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Court records show his bond was denied.
