Hunter, 74, arrested after fatally shooting woman he mistook for deer

(WPHL) – A 74-year-old man was arrested in Delaware after he was accused of shooting and killing a woman he reportedly thought was a deer, according to the Delaware State Police. Troopers from the Delaware State Police (DSP) were called to the scene of the shooting in Ellendale on Friday evening. There, they found a woman with a gunshot wound and provided medical care. She was transported to a local hospital, where she died.
