Hurricane Lala damage tops $67 million in preliminary public infrastructure costs

Hurricane Lala’s damage to Hawaii is now estimated at more than $67 million in preliminary public infrastructure costs alone, according to new information from the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency. Kimber Collins joined KITV Island News in 2024 as a weekday reporter, producer, and fill-in anchor. A graduate of Angelo State University in Texas, Kimber has worked across the U.S. both behind and in-front of the camera.
