Husband, wife found fatally shot, 2 kids found unharmed in Farmington home

FARMINGTON, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A husband and wife were found fatally shot and two kids were found unharmed Friday night in Farmington. Francois County Sheriff’s Department sent officers at about 11:49 p.m. to perform a welfare check after a disturbance was reported in the 3100 block of Worley Road. When officers arrived, they found an adult man and adult woman, later determined to be husband and wife and the homeowners of the residence, with fatal gunshot wounds. Officers found two children, both boys, unharmed in an adjoining bedroom and they were safely taken from the home and placed into the care of the Children’s Division until they can be placed with next of kin. The department says after investigation, the situation appears to be an isolated domestic incident.
