Immigration and Customs Enforcement has lodged a detainer against a man charged in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 270 in Montgomery County, Maryland, that killed a mother and daughter last month. Jose Caballero Nolasco, 32, is accused of driving the wrong way on I-270 around 6:45 p.m. on Aug. 29 before his Ford Mustang collided head-on with a Toyota Camry near the I-270 Spur in Bethesda. Investigators found beer cans inside the Mustang and alleged Caballero Nolasco was driving under the influence, according to charging documents previously reported by WTOP . The crash killed Musammat Shamima Begum, 46, and her 23-year-old daughter, Areebah Jahin, of Burke and Alexandria, Virginia.
