TWIN FALLS, Idaho — A man wanted in connection with an August drive-by shooting in Twin Falls has been arrested in Washington state, authorities said. The Twin Falls Police Department announced Wednesday that Anthony Alvarez, 36, was taken into custody in Yakima, Washington, in connection with an Aug. 1 shooting at a home on Trotter Drive. Police said detectives worked with local, state and federal law enforcement partners during the investigation and efforts to locate him. Alvarez was wanted on a warrant charging him with aggravated assault and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
